Under the leadership of President Dr. Md. Jasim Uddin and Managing Director Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, a general meeting of the organization was held on 01/01/2026 at its official address. The meeting was presided over by the current President, renowned social worker and humanitarian, Dr. Md. Jasim Uddin.
Based on the opinions of the general members present, a panel board was formed to establish the Executive Committee. Through discussions and consultations with the founding members, all attendees unanimously agreed on the importance of democratic processes in selecting leadership. Accordingly, through a patient and democratic process, an 8-member Executive Committee was formed on the mentioned date.
As the organization is a non-profit voluntary entity, its constitution was prepared and approved under the supervision of the government prior to formal registration. The constitution was officially approved by the Department of Social Services under the Voluntary Social Welfare Organizations Ordinance (No. 46 of 1961), Section 4(3), on 18/02/2026.
Due to its strong commitment and active participation in voluntary social work, the organization quickly applied for registration under the name “Alert Bangladesh Foundation” at the Dhaka District Social Services Office on 18/02/2026 (Registration No: 2026342140).
Subsequently, with the aim of expanding voluntary social services nationwide, the Executive Committee of Alert Bangladesh Foundation has been actively engaged in welfare-oriented social activities across Bangladesh. Considering its overall activities, contributions to society, and public interest, the organization’s operational scope was officially extended nationwide on 14/03/2026 under Registration No: 2026342140.
Since its establishment, Alert Bangladesh Foundation has been dedicated to serving people at the grassroots level and playing a strong role in ensuring social protection across the country.
The organization is firmly committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Bangladesh. As supported by the United Nations, the SDGs consist of 17 interconnected goals aimed at addressing key development challenges faced by people in Bangladesh and worldwide.
In alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the UN Development System (UNDS) reform, UN agencies in Bangladesh are working collaboratively in a coordinated manner to support the government in implementing the SDGs and enhancing development impact.
The United Nations in Bangladesh continues to support the government as a development partner in various sectors, including sustainable development solutions, poverty reduction, disaster management, peace, governance, police reform, human rights, environment, climate change, reproductive health, and more.
We are a non-political, non-profit, and voluntary organization dedicated to the socio-economic and cultural development of marginalized communities, including the elderly, widows, beggars, vagrants, and other disadvantaged groups in society.
Established under the Registration and Regulation of Voluntary Social Welfare Institutions Ordinance No. 46 of 1961, the organization focuses on rehabilitation, empowerment, and inclusive development.
Our aim is to ensure active participation of all sections of society through self-reliance initiatives, education, cultural development, and social welfare programs. We are committed to improving quality of life and creating equal opportunities for all through sustainable and philanthropic efforts.
